Implant Dentures

Full and Partial Implant DenturesEnjoy A Complete Smile with Implant Dentures

Missing several teeth, a full arch of teeth, or all of your teeth can greatly affect your daily quality of life. By saying “yes” to implant dentures, you can enjoy the convenience of dentures with the stability of dental implants for the best of both worlds.

What Are Implant Dentures?

Whether you call them implant dentures, implant-supported dentures, or implant-retained dentures, this dental prosthetic is a removable teeth replacement solution. However, unlike traditional dentures that rely on the natural suction of your gums to remain in place, implant dentures rest securely over dental implants for solid stability. Dentures are composed of high-grade pink acrylic to represent your gum tissue, and white “teeth” to replace the missing portion of your smile or your entire smile. Implant dentures are crafted with enclosures that fit snugly over your dental implant posts. If you choose All-On-4 dentures, then your dental prosthesis can effectively and comfortably be secured using only four carefully positioned dental implant posts. We offer the following types of implant dentures:

  • Full Implant Dentures: Full implant dentures replace an entire arch of teeth. You may choose top or bottom dentures, or both, and Dr. Lathrop may recommend All-On-4 dentures, depending on your specific needs.
  • Partial Implant Dentures: Partial implant dentures replace one tooth, multiple teeth in a row, or teeth scattered across your arch. You may choose top or bottom partial dentures, or both, and the number of implant posts needed will depend on the size of the partial denture.

What Are The Benefits of Implant Dentures?

Implant dentures offers incredible stability when compared with traditional dentures, in addition to the following benefits:

  • You will not need to worry about your dentures slipping, which offers improved speech
  • Your ability to eat a greater variety of foods will vastly improve, providing you with better nutrition
  • By replacing your missing teeth, your smile will look complete and beautiful for improved self-esteem
  • Full implant dentures restore lower face structure that is lost when you lose all of your teeth – the result is a full, more youthful appearance
  • Your dentures may last longer than traditional dentures because of the great stability offered by dental implants
  • When compared with your other implant-supported options, such as dental bridges or single tooth implants, dentures typically offer the most budget-friendly solution

Am I A Good Candidate?

Are you missing one tooth, multiple teeth side-by-side, teeth spread across your arch, a full arch of teeth, or all of your teeth? No matter the configuration of your missing teeth, dentures provide an almost universal solution to tooth loss. If you desire the benefits of traditional full or partial dentures with the added stability of implants, you may make a fantastic candidate for implant dentures.
